CAR, EU report on VPA progress in 2017

The Central African Republic (CAR) and the European Union (EU) have released a joint report on progress in implementing their Voluntary Partnership Agreement in 2017.

The report describes progress made on mandated independent observation and support to the private sector during VPA implementation. Among other items, it also describes the introduction of an obligatory clearance certificate, the operationalisation of the Mobile Inspection Brigade and the development of a collaborative database.
