VPA Partner Countries

There are currently six countries developing the systems agreed under a Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) and five countries that are negotiating with the EU. Furthermore, there are around 15 countries from Africa, Asia and Central and South America that have expressed interest in VPAs.

Liberia
Republic of Congo (Brazzaville)

VPA Countries in negotiation phase:

Democratic Republic of Congo
Gabon
Honduras
Malaysia
Vietnam

VPA Countries in information/pre-negotiation phase:

FLEGT information missions have been carried out to: 
Central and South America: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Peru.
Asia Pacific: Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar/Burma, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Thailand.
Africa: Côte d'Ivoire, Sierra Leone
