Workshop in Ivory Coast to inform stakeholders on Voluntary Partnership Agreements
The Ivory Coast is interested in entering into a Voluntary Partnership Agreement with the European Union. To explore this idea with a broad range of stakeholders, the Ministry of Water and Forests held a workshop in Abidjan, 20–21 September.
More than 200 participants exchanged views on potential benefits of such a bilateral agreement, which ensures that legal timber and wood products are exported to the European Union.
The presentations and the final report of the workshop are available from the Ministry website.
